For the past year, University faculty, staff and students from all campuses have been working together to develop goals and measures to implement the Regents' Policy on Sustainability and Energy Efficiency (2004). Preliminary Sustainability goals and measures have now been drafted, and the University Sustainability Goals and Outcomes Committee is hosting open forums to gather feedback.
Join Chancellor Kathryn A. Martin and U of MN Vice President Kathleen O'Brien (co-chair of the Sustainability Goals and Outcomes committee ) on Wednesday, April 29th at 10:30 am for the "Sustainability and U: Viewpoints from UMD" forum. Students, faculty, and staff are the eyes and ears on campus, and are encouraged to attend and give their input.
